I chose the MSN Family Nurse Practitioner program because I wanted to be able to advance my career. Herzing was able to transfer most of my MSN classes from my previous degree so I didn’t need to retake courses.
One major challenge I faced was finding an acceptable preceptor 和 it caused me a lot of uncertainty 和 stress. 然而, Herzing helped to coordinate my rotations 和 approve my preceptor so I could graduate on time. Consequently, my preceptorship became the most valuable experience of my education.
My advice to students is to take it one step at a time. Don't get discouraged 和 set unreasonable expectations for yourself. Life is going to happen, might as well keep moving toward your goals along the way.
